1984 f150 engine swap for 2000 explorer v8 is it possible

The engines are not compatible with each other. Their two totally different set-ups.

You may end up putting in an older transmission then also. The computer, ECU, communicates with the transmission control module for shift points and trouble codes and such. The fuel system will need to be modified also, as the power for the fuel pump comes from the ECU that you would not be using. I'm sure there are other things that I am missing.
