My trucks alternator won't charge right but its bran
new I've changed it like 3 times its saying its only
reading 12 volts being put out. What could cause
that

You have an external voltage regulator that might need replaced. If you have the GEN type setup (vs ammeter) there is a shunt in the wire harness that may be bad, a lot of people just upgrade to newer type alternator and harness.

Could the alternator not charging right cause the truck to skip out when put under pressure?
