Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just put in a C4 transmission to my 79F150 ranger xlt its got a 5.0 and the
old shaft measures with the yoke to 80" Do I need to find a single shaft of that
length or can I do it with a front and a rear with center support?

Can you locate a front/rear unit with center support to make the exact length? May be easier to order a shaft made to the length needed.
