How do I find out what size engine my 1977 Ford F150 has?

IN the US it is on the air cleaner cover or Emissions tags 1977 they could have used a whole bunch of options - 302/351w/351m/400

You also got the 460, 390, 302, etc. Also count how many Plugs are on the distributor cap, if there is 7 with the middle plug, then its a six cylinder, if there is nine including the middle one, then its an 8 cylinder (V8)
