No Spark 1.9 4 cyl

Replaced ignition coil & ignition switch, still no spark. Engine turning over normally.

have you checked the plug? maybe the tip got smashed on install and it the electrode is touching the metal finger, so no spark is actually jumping the gap, since theres no gap. other than that... check wires i suppose.

the only thing i can think of is to replace the distributor and ht leads

I can't remember what these things have... Isn't it a external coil and distributer setup? In which case... 1) Do you have power to the coil?

I havent checket if i have power to coil all i was trying to do is bye pass the fuel shut off swich and now it dont have spark
