when driving car acts like out of gas

There's a fuel filter in the carburetor inlet, you mat have to change it, after that check the fuel pump and if it's good the problem may be in the carburetor. If you can find a shop that can repair carburetors that's preferable to a factory rebuilt. I hope this helps. Take care.
