Grandma is looking to sell her Impala, only owner, 50K miles, average shape. Mechanically sound, minor rust. How much can she expect to sell it for (private sale, not trade in)?

Agreed, that's about tops for one in fantastic shape. A buddy of mine is into them (works for a Chevy dealer) and he only pays $500-900 for a really decent one whenever his gets worn out. :)
