Is there a trick to putting a rear bumper on a chevy impala 2 door?

On the sides are rolled edges the bumper seems 2 small.

Tape the body to protect it where it comes close the the bumper, it's a tight fit but it will go. Is the bumper an original or a repop, that can make a world of difference
