My 1989 Chevy Caprice

Asked by Aug 21, 2019 at 11:56 AM about the 1989 Chevrolet Caprice

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1989 Chevy Caprice Classic shuts off when
driving, there's no particular time. I've recently
replaced the distributor cap and rotor but it still
does the same thing. It also putt putt at times and
the check engine light comes on from time to time
but it starts right back up the majority of the time.
Anyone know what this may be? And also I don't
think they can put it on a machine to diagnose it
because it's too old.
