Question type: Maintenance & Repair

does anyone know why the Hayes auto repair manual would tell you to mark the wheel position on the hub before removing the wheel???

so as to replace the wheel in the correct position before as it may have been balanced whilst still on the car. This technique is far better than balancing a wheel on a machine as it balances the wheel, hub and brake disc all together.
