If the car sat for two years, fuel has thickened and not just in the tank. It's throughout the system and you need to get all of it out. Depending on where the car sat, you could have corrosive damage in electrical parts from moisture build-up that block current flow; a car needs to be run regularly to warm it up and get rid of moisture. I think you have a lot of work ahead of you.
