If a head is warped, wouldn't there be water in the oil?

Ok, my 1987 toyota camry got hot now it won't start. The motor turns over like it wants to start but won't. There is no water in the oil. Itf the head was warped wouldn't there be water in the oil.

Hi elr! You are also describing a timing belt issue but that probably would be related to overheating. I still think head but I think I gave you the no-start troubleshooting guide if you want to go through that. Again though, it doesn't make sense to put any other money into before you've confirmed that the head is ok. Good luck!
