where I can buy side plate bolts for 1966 chevy 250 6 cyl they seem to have gaskets built on them couldnt find any place to get them or do I just make my own ?

I take it that your talking about the lifter cover plates , Just go to the hardware and get some rubber washers from the faucet repair section , washers that fit snugly to the bolts like a 1/4 flat washer on a 5/16 screw or a 5/16 washer on a 3/8 screw I'd use all thread with ny-loc nuts
