A bad fuel pump or fuel sending unit, if you are getting gas to the pump then the float is good, getting nothing from the pump to carburetor then the pump, easy fix

Or the float in the carburetor float bowl may be stuck closed. Try tapping on the carburetor where the fuel line screws in with the handle end of a large screwdriver. If you now get gas in the carburetor, the float is sticking. HTH. -Jim
