I have a 1954 chevy 2dr ht with a 78 buick skylark rear end with leaf springs and the shocks mount up through the trunk can anyone tell me how to change the hook up for the shocks where they hook onto the frame instead of going through the trunk i am having some problems with the exhaust being in the way it has dual exhaust and a 350 engine thanks

To the guru above -- if this is possible you will probably have to move the shock mounts which will require welding. A muffler shop can customize the exhaust system.
