one of my reverse lights is out on my 1991 toyoa pick up. The driver side works. I changed out light and it still did not work. Could it be the connections?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Passenger side reverse light will not come on.  Changed bulb and still no luck.  The driver side is fine.

Yep. Gonna have to start tracing wires, from socket to fuse box. May have to run a new one alltogether If you don't have a multi-meter recommend you buy one. First see if there is power at socket from the back, not from the bulb contacts inside lens. A 25 year old truck.. I really do wish you luck

I took out the new bulb and scraped the connection with a key on the socket and it is working. Thanks for the rely.
