Just started having difficulty restarting my landcruiser after it's heated up a bit... if i let it set for a few min it starts right up again and runs just fine but getting gas on a trip is a pain as I must sit at the pumps for 5 min or so before it will restart.

If it's cranking but not starting, it could be a bad ignition switch. If it's not cranking, it's either a bad starter or starter solenoid.

ive had this same problem on my FJ60. mines carbureted however. it turns out my float level was way out of adjustment and was the flodding the carb with gas. but after settling, it would start up. so i fixed the float level, never happened since

Check the EFI relay... These beasts (91-92) are known for the EFI relay to overheat and cause a non-start issue.

If it's older and got some miles on it like mine (91), it could be the valves. Once the engine warms up, the tolerance changes and they start to leak, causing rough idle, poor performance and difficulty restarting.
