engine light on

drove two miles, stopped, when started again engine light on. Drove one mile checked all fluids(good),took radiator cap off spued water out,filled with fluid,light still on,not driving but two miles each day what should i check? thermostat,water pump,there is no leakage any where. HELP PLEASE

AutoZone or any such place scans vehicle for free. Scan twice buy once. Anyone can throw a thousand dollars at a vehicle and fix it.
