Seems to be starved for fuel

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

4 cyl.
Changed rotor and plugs fuel filter.
No check engine light.
The vehicle seems to be starved for gas.
It will start and run great and then act like it
isn't getting fuel.
There is no check engine light.
It doesn't have a obd2 plug.

Fuel pressure regulator perhaps? With engine off take the hose off and see if any fuel comes out if so not good. Also you can hook up a Mity-Vac and see if it holds pressure. Good Luck!
