My Radio in my 94' Toyota Corolla wont work!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery died in my Toyota so i got a new battery. But it trued out my Alternator was bad to. So i installed a new Alternater. Everything in my car went back to normal all except my radio does not work anymore. Only the eject button lights up. It does not do anything but light up. I checked all of the fuses and there all good. And i dont think the radio has any kind of Anti-Theft. If any one has any guess to why my radio doesnt work. I would appreciate the help and feed back.

you might have surged the power system... on the toyota i think the lighter is in the same circut as the radio so check and see if that works if it does im sure you surged the system and insted of poping the fuse the radio got the dmg... this happed in my 4 runner lol

the fuse for the dome light, hazzereds, horn, and radio blow. i tryed changing it 4 times but it just blow right away, but on the 5th time the fuse didnt blow. so the fuse are good. but what gets me is the eject button lights up on the radio, but it wont trun on. do you think if i try puting a diffrent radio in it will work?
