back down.  Turned off the cruise control.   Everything seemed fine.  Put it
back on, and the car just died... no dimming of the lights, nothing of that
nature.  Now wont start, just click.  Tried jumping, click.  Towed it home, dont

What Engine/ Mileage? Need a digital volt meter to begin the diagnosis. Sounds like your Battery may have failed. Does your battery look funky like this one?

the battery is less than 4 months old, and still looks almost new. The neighbor looked at it about an hour ago and said the engine is seized. It ran out of oil. Wouldnt there have been some kind of warning light... Now I dont know what I am going to do... dang the bad luck..

A 23 year old vehicle...and...a seized engine? Perhaps a second opinion is in order. My opinion..time to move on to another vehicle. Are you handy with tools and mechanical things?

Thanks for the update. If you decide to do something with this vehicle such as verify the seized engine....let us know. I have seen a bad alternator "seize" an engine. On the other hand ...when the Engine "runs out of oil".....the ultimate result will be a Oil warning light comes on...and...if the engine is not shut down...it will indeed lock up.
