If its running right that engine is fairly decent on fuel for a V6, you r going to run into all kinds of trouble if your even thinking about using a different power plant than factory, wiring, electronics, transmission and if you did go lighter you will have to soften the suspension or it will beat you driving it. So if you still intent on doing this I suggest you find a wrecked donor car with the power plant you want in the Toyota line and transfer parts from that one into yours, but it wont be easy. I don't know if they do safety checks or emissions testing over there, but if they do it won't pass. Good Luck

Toyota V6 Camry engine is one of the best power to fuel use ratio. I have had 4 and they are indestructible. I still have 2 of them. 97 Avalon and 02 sienna. They are available on EBay. If the car is in decent shape, I would put an identical engine back in

Thanks guys I really appreciate it but the thing is the 3 liter is too heavy on petrol even though the fuel consumption of the v6 is good I was hoping to find out if the following engines are sutible: *Camry 2litr SEI *2.2llitre SEI *2litre I *2.2litre I All regardless of their models If they are any specific compatible models of these engines plz let me know Plz specify Thanks alot once again
