Bleeding the brakes

ok first of all unless you previously had air in your lines before brake change and had to open the bleeder valve you should not have to do that. if you just used a c clamp to compress your caliper back in then once you have breaks back on just start the car and keep mashing the pedal until it stiffens. it will be soft and go to the floor the first few pumps but then should start to get harder to push. if you did open the bleeder valve or have air in your lines just look for the little valve port on the side or top in the back of your brake caliper. prob be a 10 mil 0r a 3/8 head on it turn it just a lil have someone push brake to floor and then pump them until your not hearing any air come from valve and only fluid is coming out. when you see this tell the persoon to pump three times and hold brake to floor . when he has brake on floor tighten the valve back up. job done. oh you may want to repeat the pumping procedure a couple times to ensure air is out of line. dont forget to add new brake fluid. hope tis helps
