dust cap for the front wheels spindles??
does anyone know if, or where I can find a cap to cover the front wheel spindles?? I plan on tossing my plastic hubcaps, painting my black wheels silver, and putting chrome lug nuts on to dress up the stock wheels. Toyota has no such part for this. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, Dorman Motormite makes a lot of various sized dust caps for bearings, you should be able to find something that will fit in their catalog at most auto parts stores.
"Toyota has no such part for this" - cindy47 All Toyota Corollas came Manufactured with a cap (Toyota part number 43514- other numbers depending on year and model, I have photographs, Toyota Corollas from 1970s to 2000s) to cover the front wheel spindles to protect the cotter key, retainer, hub nut, and spindle as a matter of vehicle safety..think about losing a hub, wheel, and tire, while going at 55mph on a highway or freeway. The plastic wheel covers do NOT protect the wheel hub from rust, also there is a specific NON petroleum grease (0888701206) used to pack the hub, a petroleum grease will destroy the wheel bearing seals. If you had your Toyota Corolla Serviced or New Tires put on the people that did that took (stole) your caps or when they removed your wheels they did not put them back on the wheels (they are attached to the wheels not the hubs), if you look really carefully at the hub there is residue of a adhesive sealant on the hub (usually a Toyota yellow sealant, see photograph). The Wild Man aka counterfeit Dorman Grease Caps attach to the hubs not the wheels and can damage the hub.
