Dashboard lights stay on

When the car is off all dashboards lights
stay on? Why??

The key must not be turned all the way off.

I can pull the key out of the ignition and the only lights were still lit was on dashboard.


Your ignition switch is probably worn out. If you play with it you may be able to get the lights to turn off until you can replace the switch.
