replaced engine in 2004 toyota camry not wont start and computer wont work

Dont know but,my husband replaced motor in the Toyota Camry and now computer won't work nor will cat start any suggestions he checked all wiring

Did you replace the engine with an exact replacement? If not then the I/O's may not be compatible with you OBC, Your not too specific regarding the problem ... does it crank ,,, do you have a spark ... fuel???

But what I'm asking is how do you know its the ECU (Computer)? Have you reset it? To reset it remove the negative (ground) wire from the battery and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. Then reconnect it. It will clear the adaptive memory of the unit.

Do you have any information on the digital display ,,, miles, fuel ? Do the door locks work,starter engage?

This is me answering back to Toms question yes doors lock and it gets fuel but car wont start and computer dont work he already unplugged ground and plugged it back in ,any more suggeztions ??

You never replied to the engine is it the exact same year and model ... this is very important Do the Dash Gauges work , .. are there any messages like "Security" or Check engine soon"
