I installed a new stereo in my 2004 Camry, but something cause my dash lights to burn out. I found the fuse and replaced it but it didn't turn on the dash lights. I beleive it has something to do with the wiring but I can't figure out what needs to connect with what. Has anyone every installed an after market stereo in a 2004 toyota camry?

I found the fuse for the dash and glove box and it was burnt out so I replaced it. The glove
box light came back on when I changed the fuse, so I know it's more than the fuse. Also
someone on here mentioned that it's probably not the rheostat. I'm just not sure what
could be wrong with the wiring. They're color coordinated.

Reastat switch is on daash bet you use hot lead for that r radio Toyota s three hot leads for radio !make sure you use correct one follow wire to dash and change hot lead back get a test light

My 2000 v6 toyota camry turns on but just for a second and goes off right after it goes on. Only when is hot. In the mornings generally it turns on fine for like 15 minutes. Some said to check the fuel pump, and alternator, but they are fine, i think it has to do with the plastic connectors that go in to the camshaft position sensor that are falling apart for so much heat on the sidesn and an electritian man did a new one just the ends so it would connect the sensor tightly, but is going off when the car is on after 15 minutes or so. What should i do? replace the sensor? i can´t find the original connectors 2 Answers
