Burning smell comes in corolla 2006 after regular oil change and
maintenance. We had bought it new in 2006 and have been using it for 10
years now 130K miles + with all regular maintenances done.

Could be someone that serviced it spilled some oil on the exhaust pipe causing a burned oil smell. If it is that it is not harmful, just annoying and it will go away. Raise the hood to see if oil has been spilled or there is a leak.
