Battery wont hold a jump after i remove the cables.
Sputters and dies

Could just be a bad battery, with a dead cell (or two). Take it somewhere and get it load tested, and check those terminals/clamps on the wire harness for frayed ends, or loose/missing grounds.

My guess is a dead alternator but the battery may also be bad.
