Chevy truck dies when warm

Asked by Aug 23, 2019 at 02:29 AM about the 1993 Chevrolet C/K 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My son's 1993 Chevy 1500 with the v6 will start
fine and drive for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the
engine gets warm but then if you let off the gas to
stop or slow down and then press again to
accelerate it will die. It will sit and idle as long as
you don't press the gas. Once it cools down in an
hour or so it will crank up and do the same process
over again. Ive already replaced the fuel pump,
fuel filter,  checked the fuel relay and replaced the
coil.  Replacing the coil fixed the problem for about
a week but here we are again.  Please help.
