1994 Chevy V6 pickup

1994 V6 Chevy truck, I have already put
heat and lucus in tank and have changed
fuel filter and distributor cap and rotor,
truck looses power going up hills and
sometimes just driving down highway,
sometimes check engine light comes on
for a bit and then goes right back off an
start running just fine again mostly does
this when taking off in morning someone
just told me it could b vacuum hose, what
do u think any suggestions???
