New aftermarket distributor .. how do I hook up so that ecu gets signal that I'm getting fired 5.7 tbi

I have a 94 Chevy that used to have a 4.6 in it .. I
afterwards did a swap to a 5.7... ran fine for years
now I have replaced distributor with the a
aftermarket distrubutor.. how do I hook it up to
make sure ECU is getting the signal  that's its
getting fire??
