Want to go bigger in tires

Question type: General

I have a 96 Chevy 1500 sigle cab  stock I want to
know if I can go 15s to 17s without doing nothing
major I know there  will be some rubbing but
overall it should fit I think

"Some rubbing" is a great way to ruin tires. You may find you'll be stuck with a lower profile tire on 17" rims, which is not necessarily good for a work truck. You can always window shop a tire store and see what tire/rim combos you like or what will work.
