what causes turn signal to stop flashing

when the turn signals are turned on the light comes on but fail to flash. i want to replace the turn signal flasher but cannot locate it. Where is the turn signal flasher located?

Hello, The turn signal flasher is located to the left of the radio right behind the dash. Best of luck! CarGrrl
