Reset fuel cutoff

97 s10 new key switch tried 3 step reset ( 10
min wait turn off 5 sec repet 3 times all
together ) no good but at the end of 3 step it
does run longer than before then dies?

This relearn procedure that everyone talks about will NOT work in your situation! You need to have the new key programmed to the vehicle by your local GM Dealer or a qualified locksmith. Hope that helps! Jim
