JUMPED TIME MAYBE?

Sounds like it threw a connecting rod, or something else inside the engine came apart. Crankshaft bearing cap maybe. I wouldn't bother fixing the engine. The truck is 19 years old. Time to move on. Sorry! HTH. -Jim

Yep if it only turns half way around then it engine trouble. Chances are high that it ruined the block too, so either sell it as where is, or find a good used engine that will keep you going for while longer, but if your really in love with the rig then fork out some big bucks a buy a reman engine with a warranty.

I'm not so sure its done for because it started locking up after I pulled two of the injectors out and put them back in I mean right after so I figure that has something to do with it maybe a vapor lock?

Remove the spark plugs and see if it'll turn over by hand then. If one of the cylinders is full of gasoline, or partly full of gasoline, that'll make it seem like it's locked up. If it still won't turn completely over by hand the problem is mechanical. HTH. -Jim
