Stall limiter

Asked by Sep 03, 2017 at 03:59 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet S-10

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Which stall limiter should a 2002 Chevrolet S10 4x4 4.3 V6
vortec with A 4L60E transmission have. I recently ordered a
new one and they sent 1 that limits at 1400 to 1600. I have
a completely rebuilt transmission and a brand new valve
body and I am still having transmission problems. I read
somewhere on the Internet that my truck needed a stall
limiter from 2000 to 2500. Is this correct and my problem
could be that my stall limiter is the wrong one
