Fix up old car

Asked by HawaiiSkier Oct 31, 2017 at 09:39 PM about the 2001 Honda CR-V

Question type: General

Want to 'hop up' my 2001 CR-V, 105,000 miles.  Need new tires and a few
minor repairs - or a new car.  And change standard transmission to automatic
and Improve HP.  Any suggestions?

Buy an automatic CRV. If you want performance I would buy a performance car.

I guess I should have been more specific. I want to fix up this car so that I do not have to buy a new car. I don't want a new CRV. I want advice on how to 'change' and 'improve.' Thank you, pH

You have a 2001 Honda, it will never be fast. If it is in good shape keep it and drive it. If it needs lots of repairs, consider getting rid of it.
