1995 HONDA CRV KEEPS SHUTTING OFF WHILST DRIVING

WHILST DRIVING
I have a 1995 Honda CR-V . Im not sure why it
keeps shutting down whilst driving. I have changed
the oil filter, no problems with anything else that I
know of. I know the previous owner ignored regular
services for 7 years as he owned the vechile for
that time being. It has done this 3 times now and
when it does the lights on the dashboard start to
flicker. I switch the vechile off and start up again
then it just repeats the same thing switches off
and the lights start to flicker. Please can anyone
point me in the right direction to find out what the
problem is, or any advice on what I can do please.

What is that? This is my 2nd car I have owned so i have absolutely no idea
