Honda Pilot folding flat

Question type: General

How do I fold the rear cargo area flat -- I can't seem to make it work

except that it won’t. The seat back folds forward, but hits the bottom cushion, stops there, and is NOT laying flat. I need it absolutely flat. I must be missing something. Is there a way to fold that bottom cushion forward and get it out of the way? Not clear from the manual.

Not all cars fold completely flat. Unless you can tilt the seat bottoms forward this is the best you can do.
