Not too sure what else to do, any ideas?

It won't start we've adjusted the timing and think
we have it timed. There is no compression is one
cylinder, and barely any in another. Finally got it to
start last night but only for a few seconds, seems
like it was getting flooded with fuel.

We've done that as well, no fuel sprays out from there but that vacuum line sits on the intake very loose, it's worn out. I would think that the motor could still start with bad compression, its only on 2 cylinders, wouldn't it just run like crap?

Sorry I mistyped so cylinders 4 and 6 are the ones with very low compression #4-15 #6-30 but I had thought that the main things needed for a motor to run was fuel/vacuum and timing?

Oh well that does make sense. Poof isn't really enough to start a motor.

Hey guys, i have a 1985 Bronco II, 2.8L, XLT. There is a hose that is missing from the side of my air filter housing that leads to the front of the vehicle. I have searched high and low for this replacement hose. I think my biggest problem is that I do not know what the part is actually called. Does anyone know what this part would be called? i have a 1986 bronco 2 when i try to start it it will run until i release it from the start position then its like you turned the key off. Not sure if its a relay or in the start switch, 2 Answers
