1988 bronco 2 not starting

Asked by Dec 27, 2015 at 12:02 PM about the 1988 Ford Bronco II

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has gas to regulator, has spark to distributor and still does not state.

1 Answer

Spray some starting fluid down the carburetor or throttle body if fuel injected. It should run a few seconds on the starting fluid. If so it's a fuel problem. If not and you know that you have spark run a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
