Best engine to swap with a 351w

I was wondering of anyone could tell me what the best engine would be to
swap with the 351 Windsor that is in my 1979 Bronco. Could I put some type
of performance engine in or would I have to go with more of a truck style of
engine?

The 351 W is not a bad engine. With better heads you can get 400 to 500 hp. You could go to a FE engine if you want. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/build-a-505hp-ford-351-windsor/
