What could be wrong with my 2007 LS Chevrolet Equinox steering AFTER replacing the 80 amp EPS fuse?

Asked by miss_abc123 Sep 26, 2014 at 02:17 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the fuse but that didn't correct the problem. I've read online that my car does not have a pump but a motor. Is that all or does it have a belt as well? All search queries all say to replace the fuse but that didn't help.

I believe it has electric steering, no belt. Might have to replace the rack. Not cheap. Have a REPUTABLE mechanic look at it.
