My cooling fan does not turn on. I hooked up wires to the fan and it turns on, I checked the fuse, the relay and put in a new sensor. It still will not turn on, even at 205 degrees. If I pull the wires out of the sensor it runs but won't turn off.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I checked the fuse, the relay, and put in a new sensor. The fan runs all of the
time when I unplug the sensor but will not come on when I plug it back in no
matter how hot it gets.

They are programmed to turn on about 215 degrees +/- a degree or 2. My fan turns on at 214 degrees.

Thank you. I will try it. I didn't know how hot it could get without hurting the car. The package said 175 to 185 I thought that was when it was supposed to go on.
