If any one can give me directions on how to put on a new mirror and housing for the 07 ford F-150, PLEASE HELP ME! It's my husbsnds truck and he is due back from deployment in 2 months.  I'm on shore duty and am an Gas Turbine Engeneier but can't afford the suck you dry dealers prices! I can do it I just need instructions!  Thank You if you can help at all or tell me where to get the information I need!!! pretty please guy's!!

This is pretty easy. You can buy a new mirror and housing complete. Only three bolts hold it on. Look on the inside of the driver's door near where the mirror is mounted. Typically, you can remove the interior trim panel right here, without any need to remove the rest of the door panel. Then you can access the screws. If it is heated/electric/etc. you will probably need to pull the inside door panel off, or at least back a bit, to access the wiring harness connection for the mirror. Typically these can be done in about 15 minutes nowadays.
