The radio works then it doesnt
i have taken the radio out played with connectors. put it back then it works..i may think it has something to do with the closing and opening of the door.

it sounds like you have loose connections in the back of the stereo, pull it out but leave it plugged in and start wiggling wires ( be careful not to shock yourself ) if you can't get it to mimic the problem look at the power wires to see if any of the wires are exposed that could be creating a short to ground.
