1971 302 Radiator

Asked by JL Apr 15, 2010 at 04:06 PM about the 1971 Ford Mustang

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Anyone know if the radiator is the same for the 302v8 as the 351??? I called Napa as I need a replacement and they arent showing a radiator for the 302. But radiator is the same for the 250 ci L6, 351ci v8 (w and C) and also the 429. Any help is greatly appreciated. The guy told me id need to bring in my bad radiator to see if they were the same..but its still in the car and I dont really want to pull it at this time.

yea there both a one row but the only way i could look it up was by diffrent cars which has diffrent part numbers. i looked one up for a 92 mustang with a 302 and looked you a 90 f150 with a 351 the upper hose and lower hose location on the radiator are the same and both are a 1 row. but they will have diff mounting holes but i do know summit makes some decent radiators.
