Wheel spacers

I'm trying to get the hubby wheel spacers for his
birthday for his 1979 Camaro Z28 but I'm not sure
if they will be ok for that year. All I can find on Sixity
webpage is for '82's and newer. Can anyone help
me out with information if the 1.5" spacers will
work with a '79 Z28?

Wheel spacers are almost never a good idea and in my opinion 1.5" spacers are just short of dangerous.

    Anybody know what the maximum width you can run spacers before the wheels rub? I think massivespeed.com said 30mm but it wouldn't hurt anything if i ran 40mm in the rear and 30 up front would it?
