The windshield wipers on my daughters 71
chevelle suddenly wont turn off.  Anyone
have any ideas on how I can troubleshoot
it:)?

It's most likely the wiper motor. Try tapping on it with a small hammer or wrench. If they then stop it's the motor. Inside the motor assembly there's a parking paw that is engaged when the switch on the dash is turned off. A relay, inside the motor, is de-energized and allows the parking paw to drop, park the wipers, and stop the motor. If the relay gets stuck the wipers will continue to run regardless of the switch position. HTH. -Jim
